Hi, I'm Cindy!<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

I grew up with photography. As a child, I was given my father\u2019s old camera and we would head out into the countryside together to capture everything. It remained a hobby that came and went.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I became a mother, I discovered a whole new world within photography that I hadn\u2019t known before: that of family documentary photography. Without even realising it, I was already taking this sort of photo of my little one during my early days as a mother, simply using my phone. Photos that I wanted to keep as memories of what it\u2019s like to be a mother, of what it\u2019s really like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I took photos of the happy moments, but also of his little face when he was crying. Because I want to be able to remember that too. If my husband wasn\u2019t taking the photo, I\u2019d try to do it myself. Selfies whilst feeding and with my sleeping baby in my arms. This motivated me to delve deeper into this field. Sometimes I got fed up with the fact that a selfie was the only way to take a photo of me and my baby. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

That is precisely why I want to give other mums the photos, and with them, the memories, that I myself would love to have. Thanks to my own experience as a mum, I have an eye for these moments. Photos of small, everyday moments: how a baby\u2019s little hand clings to your clothes or wraps itself around your finger, the chaos during nappy changes, the splashing and fun in the bath, but also the angry or sad moments. Because they\u2019re all part of it too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a photographer in Limburg, I mainly work with families with young children. My style is characterised by natural, spontaneous photography without forced poses, with photo's in bright colours and black-and-white.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

But who am I, really?<\/strong> <\/h6>\n\n\n\n

My name is Cindy. I\u2019m a mum to a little boy, a medical doctor by profession, and, of course, a photographer. My family and I lived in southern Germany for a few years, an adventure we recently swapped for a new chapter in Maastricht, the city where my husband and I both studied. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019ll most likely find me outdoors, with my camera in hand, or simply at home with my family. It\u2019s the little everyday moments that bring me joy. Going for a stroll, singing, dancing and laughing together, those little sticky hands learning to eat, seeing the wonder in my son\u2019s eyes when he spots a pigeon flying by or a truck driving down the street. The little things that often go unnoticed. And perhaps not surprisingly: I\u2019m all too often in the photos with my son myself. Sometimes beautiful, sometimes unpolished, but always real. Exactly as I want to remember it later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
